Throughout the 7 summits I have been raising money and awareness of the incredible work done by Place2Be.

Since September 2014, over £45,000 has been raised through incredibly generous donations by individuals, groups and businesses.

JO’S MIGHTY 90 was born in Spring 2019 and is a very simple way to raise a possible £70,000 of life changing funds for Place2Be as well as helping me complete the last of the 7 summits by raising an additional £20,000 for expedition costs. I have personally covered the addition costs.

Climbing mountains is not a cheap undertaking and I was very fortunate to find a sponsor for my ascents of Everest and Denali who covered my expedition costs and who wanted no recognition for their donation; just a promise to raise as much money as possible for Place2Be.

With 6 of the 7 summits behind me, only Carstensz Pyramid, Indonesia is left to be completed however due to Covid and ongoing civil unrest in West Papua, I will wait until it is safe to do so.
